Emily Brelin is not the average young teen that she appears to be. Abducted as a child by a rogue general, she was trained in the arts of espionage. However, she had escaped that life and found friendship with a sympathetic professor. Now her sole benefactor and friend was dead. Emily has vowed to fulfill the professor’s deathbed wish and consider adoption with Officer Victoria Tacket, but complications ensue. Emily hits the streets of the golden city bent on finding redemption and eluding recapture by the malevolent general, who wants to regain Emily and the special gifts that she possesses for his own sinister purpose.
