Her mixed race friends, Soonie and Wylder, come to her aid but for how long? And what if her wicked stepfather, Jed, returns?

The River Girl’s Song provides an interesting slice of rural Texas Life in the 1880’s. The author touches upon community support, morals and prejudices, while developing an interesting character with grit and faith. The plot has nice tension throughout with good action and a thread of romance. This is a fun read for all ages.
