There she finds the love and acceptance she never knew from the local pastor and his wife. But when Millie comes down with cancer Katie fears she’ll be returned to Sunny Haven. While grappling with faith and tough questions, Katie must contend with hormones and boys and a high school bully intent on ruining Katie’s newfound friendships.

Author, Jenny B. Jones, weaves her character through a montage of issues that are both highly entertaining and spiritually informative. The dialog and inner monologue carry the plot as this character leaps off the pages and grabs you by the heart. In addition to the enthralling Katie Parker, the author has thrown together an interesting and sometimes outrageous cast of supporting characters that will make you smile. This is another great read.
