Jack, Alexia, Arthur and their super human friends have just escaped from the City of Shadows. However the Assassin’s minions are hot on their heels apparently following a mysterious homing beacon. Jack and Alexia, both children of the prophecy, finally discover their true relationship, and their part in the battle that will somehow both destroy and save the planet. The friends must separate to rescue loved ones and to garner the Author’s tools that will help them in the coming final battle. But how many of the Awakened must perish first?

Third in the Jack Staples Series, The Poet’s Storm brings the conflict and resolution of this powerful tale of good versus evil to a satisfying conclusion. The action was again intense, with a little romance sprinkled in. The Christian allegories continued to be awesome, and forgiveness, mercy, love and courage were once more magnificently exemplified through the characters. Another great read.
