Meeting together for the first time at Discovery Lake Christian Camp, the six girls of cabin 12 B connect, and in the two week process, help solve an old mystery. The camp grounds man frightens the girls away from the adjoining abandoned golf course while he suspiciously digs holes at night. Kate, the gadget girl, and the others, investigate and discover Dan Gerhardt’s father is serving time for a jewelry robbery—and the jewels remain missing . . .

With pranks reminiscent of The Parent Trap, the Camp Club Girls also duke it out with other cabins, competing in talent shows, canoeing, horseback riding, scripture memory and other contests. Interspersed with midnight meetings, dark night flights, harrowing escapes, clever sleuthing, wildcats and a cute dog named Biscuit, the cabin 12 B girls, ages nine to fourteen, find something even more exciting—great friendship.

This is a sweet story about young girls, friendship and a little mystery in a strong Christian environment. The writing style and content is conducive to younger readers (8-10). If you like this book, and the characters; Kate, McKenzie, Alexis (Alex), Sydney, Bailey and Elizabeth, then rejoice! There are twenty-four or so mysteries featuring these characters written by Renae Brumbaugh and several other authors.
