For Tyler Higgins, the drug trafficking in his community and school has become personal. It’s destroying his best friend and now threatens more people he loves. The problem is that the police don’t care about juvenile users; they’re only interested in the source. Tyler resolves to find the dealer but doesn’t realize the drama and danger his spying operation is going to cause him.
Haggerty writes high-stakes suspense and an unrelenting plot that kept me riveted to the story. His teenage characters are complex, believable, and take responsibility for their problems. He has mastered the teenage point-of-view character, and I think his voice will strongly resonate with teens, especially young men.
