Alora, a normal high school junior living on a ranch in the Montana backcountry, begins having visions of a handsome boy in strange garb. But when he suddenly appears in a most embarrassing venue, she freaks out. She quickly discovers that her deceased mother was from Laegenshire—another realm—and when Kaevin appears again and this time doesn’t vanish away, she learns that she has also inherited her mother’s gift of teleporting objects and people. In the realm of Laegenshire, Kaevin son of Graely and leader of the Stone Clan, is locked in mortal conflict with the evil Master Vindrake, leader of the Water Clan. Suddenly, Alora finds herself enmeshed with Kaevin and this deadly conflict between good and evil.
Alora: The Wander-Jewel flows easily from the normal to the paranormal with great imagination, excellent clean romance, good morals with a dash of fantasy spice in a solid theistic worldview. Nice action and tension throughout—this story was a fun read with a positive message.

Thanks so much for the awesome review. I am the author, a strong believer who loves working with young people. I would like to add that subsequent books in the series are aimed at age 13 and up, as the conflict escalates. Though there is no graphic violence, I feel some scenes would be top intense for age 10 to 12.
